Mandala by Tony Johnston (signed intaglio print from original drawing)

This is a single, handmade, printer’s proof, signed by Colorado artist Tony Johnston in 2013.  Tony creates detailed, time-intensive pointillist illustrations using fine, felt-tipped pens, often taking 40 hours on a single piece. This print uses a circular plate, embedding the paper with the shape of the circle in the drawing.
